Uses : Largely used for interior construction such as boards, scantling and decorative paneling. One of the best timber for decorative flooring giving comparatively smooth wear without surface breakdown. Especially used for ballrooms and gymnasiums. An excellent turnery wood. Suitable for furniture, cabinet work and joinery. Also used for carving, especially for ornamental casket and picture frames.
